Recently
in Edo state Nigeria, the Smilez Initiative Group had their quarterly Music Concert
labeled “The Unveiling Music Concert Series." The event holds every three months
in a year. The occasion has a high number of notable artistes in Benin City Edo
state in attendance, the event center is the Emerald House Int’l located at 1st
east circular Benin City. As usual the hall of the event was fully parked to
the brim and it was decorated colorfully to commensurate with the intention of
the event. Talking Christianity crew
members interviewed the CEO of Smilez Initiative Group and he shared his
thought on the purpose of the unveiling.
The
CEO Mr. Elliot Smilez said Smilez Initiative Group (SIG) and Unveiling Music
Concert Series (UMCS) are a purpose discovery and career motivating body that
is strictly to motivate and inspire lives positively and creatively. When asked
how the initiative came about, he said the fact that upcoming artistes are not
highly recognized and they find it challenging to have the platform to perform
and showcase their God’s given talents, is what prompted him to come up with
these bodies (SIG & UMCS).
The
theme of this edition of the unveiling is “UNVEILING JENYFA”. The CEO said that
Jenyfa is the face to unveil to the world to see and discover her God’s given
voice and also to promote her positively. Talking Christianity team also met
Jenyfa the face to unveil and had a chat with her. She said that she is filled
with great joy because of the privilege she has to be the face of this season’s
unveiling. The prolific songwriter and amazing singer expressed her gratitude
to SIG for the opportunity they have given to her and promised not to let their
effort down.
The
Music Concert had in attendance guest like Justin Verz, Psamuela, Purity Ogbes
Nosa, Mic Bars and also INK D GREAT to spice it up and they all performed and
thrilled the audience. Many of the
people that attended were glad that this kind of concert and performance is
taking place among the Christian artistes; according to them this will
encourage Christian artistes to stay put doing Christian arts.
