Why Most People Do not Believe In God’s Existence (Part One)

It is common thing in our society to find people in every stratum keenly asking this question of God’s whereabouts. The statement has been, “if there is God, where is He?” To them, inasmuch as God is not visible to unclad eyes, there is no point saying that He exists. This factor of invisibility has become a hard nut for many to crack. For this reason many who would have liked to believe in God decided to think otherwise. Talking about the curse, it is important to ascertain that in real terms, God didn’t curse the man. Remember, the consequence will only manifest if the action is taken inasmuch as the action is not taken, there is no way the consequence will manifest. Spiritual entities dissipate information or messages that reveal their core values to the public and they expect the public to know them by these messages they preach. So their messages invariably become their identity because they point to what they are and represents. Also, it is important to point out that it is their message that brings people and as many that they bring among them are established by the same message. However, it is important to note that Christianity as a spiritual entity has its own message and this message is called the message of salvation. This implies that the right Christian message should be that message that can save people from condemnation and it is rooted in the teaching of the early Apostles. To ascertain the right message therefore it is worthy to align any message preached by anyone with what was preached by the early Apostles and if such message doesn’t align properly it should be discarded.

One of the things that the curse did to the man was to rip him off the nature of God that he was to possess and he never found himself in the image of God. Throughout the pages of scripture, there is no place the first Adam was referred as the image of God because that confirmation was not established as a result of his transgression of the instruction given to him. The Word also ‘is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.’ Interestingly, the twoedged sword can never do this, it has no ability in this regard and that is where the Word takes preeminence over it and therefore, there is no point juxtaposing the Word with twoedged sword. Now is important to note that if the Word has the ability to discern what the thought and the intent of the heart is, it means He is qualified enough to handle issues in life. No wonder the Word has inscrutable mastery in solving issues when employed! No one can fathom how the Word does it but by faith and believe in the Word, one sees results.

Sin Equals Death and Righteousness Equals Life

Sin equals death and righteousness equals life. There is nothing one can do to undo this fact because sin is a legal issue and the requirement for the legal demand is death. It is not proper for one to think that he or she can pray his or her sin(s) away by praying and confessing the sins. Once one has committed sin, the response to it is death, and it doesn’t matter if one confesses of pray for forgiveness or not.
The only way to get rid of sin out of someone’s life is by believing in Christ who paid for its price. In the Old Testament no sin was forgiven, all were covered hence the renewal of sacrifice yearly, this implies that no one received total forgiveness of sin until Christ came and died.
Righteousness is received in believing and anchoring one’s faith on the finished work of Christ through His death, burial and resurrection, (Romans 5:21, 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Christ is Your Environment (Part Ten) Understanding 1 Peter 1:5-10 In The Light Of Christ

Notice what Apostle Peter said that “For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 1:8), I like the way he used the word ‘if’ in the quotation, making it a conditional statement, which on the other hand suggests that it is in the hand of the believer and not in the hand of God. Another thing to consider is that the ‘if’ also suggests that these things are already available and the believer needs not to struggle to make them available anymore; what is required is for him or her to draw them to himself or herself.
